What is a Registered Dietitian?

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) are food and nutrition experts with a minimum of a graduate degree from an accredited dietetics program and who completed a supervised practice requirement, passed a national exam and continue professional development throughout their careers. (Eatright.org, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics)

What is a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist?

I earned my Certified Breastfeeding Specialist credential through Lactation Education Resources (LER). It involved 95 hours of lactation specific education.

 The Certified Breastfeeding Specialist (CBS) certification identifies a lactation professional who has received training in the education and support of breastfeeding and chestfeeding families through pregnancy, breastfeeding initiation, and the normal course of lactation.

Do you take insurance?

Yes! I am in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna. If I am out of network with your insurance, I am happy to provide you with a Superbill for any nutrition services if you would like to submit it to your insurance. I am licensed in the state of Kansas.
